Berries are also a perfect addition to a refreshing smoothie.  One trick I learned over my many smoothie-making years...I use frozen berries instead of fresh berries and do not add ice. It makes a smoothie less watery and much thicker. Plus, you don’t have to worry about frozen berries going bad in the fridge.
