"What felt like such weakness was really my greatest moment of strength," says Alex Greer about recognizing his addiction to alcohol. Alex is a successful entrepreneur and owner of Funky Pickle Productions in the Atlantic City area. Alex had friends, a good family, a nice place to live, and a business and steady income; he was thriving and successful by most measures. Yet, alcohol had become a problem in his life. When he finally admitted it to himself and the people who loved him, he found the help he needed.

Today, he is living a better, happier, and healthier life, free from alcohol. As he recovered, he created Funky Pickle Productions, which hosts fun and exciting philanthropic pickleball events. I met him at a fundraising event that provides treatment assistance for people with addiction. He spoke publicly for the first time about his problems with alcohol and how he found the courage to overcome this addiction.
