More State of New Jersey COVID-19 charges this week - this time against two Atlantic County Bars.

State Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal says Alcohol Beverage Control is seeking 10-day license suspensions against both Black Cat Bar and Grill in Absecon and Robert's Place in Margate. Additionally, Grewel says, "Violation of the emergency orders is a disorderly persons offense carrying a sentence of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.Such violations are charged by summons, without arrest."

Authorities say both establishments allowed patrons to eat and/or drink on the premises. The complaint against the Black Cat can be found here, while the complaint about Robert's can be found here.  Robert's also faces a mask violations that call for an additional $750 fine.

A few weeks ago several other Atlantic County businesses were also called out for COVID-19 violations.
