Humane Society of Ocean City In ‘Desperate Need’ of Supplies
Our friends at the Humane Society of Ocean City are asking for help with kitten food and supply donations.
It's not unusual for the shelter at the Humane Society of Ocean City to have a litter or two of kittens they are caring for until they can find them a forever home, in addition to the other cats they are sheltering.
The HSOC adoption facility can house over 125 animals and averages over 150 adoptions a year.
If you are a pet owner, you know how expensive it can be to supply food and toys to one or two pets. Imagine trying to provide for dozens of animals at any given moment.
Right now, the Humane Society of Ocean City has a number of cats and kittens, including a litter of 5-month-old kittens in its shelter.
The HSOC says they are in desperate need of the following items.
Kitten food:
- Breeder's Edge Foster Care Kitten Mile Replacer
-Purina One Plus Healthy Kitten Formula + High Protein dry kitten food
-Purina Kitten Chow Nurture with Chicken dry kitten food,
Purina Fancy Feast Classic Pate collection canned kitten food, other wet or canned food for cats.
Other kitten supplies needed:
toys, treats, heat disks, miracle nipples and syringes
Can you help? See how to help with a food donation to the HSOC.
The Humane Society of Ocean City is a 'no-kill- shelter. These animals will be kept in their care until they can be placed in a permanent loving adoptive home.
