Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Thor the dog.

Here's some information on Thor from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

"Thor is a year-old shepherd mix. He would love a home with a yard to play in and someone to take on long walks.

He is working on his leash manners (he is doing very well for his age and with some time spent training with him, he is sure to be a true superhero dog) but does still pull at times.

Thor has shown that he has had some work with housebreaking as he is a very clean pup here at the shelter. He is good with other dogs but can be a bit overwhelming with play so a dog of his own speed would be best.

Come meet our adorable Thor....he is young, fun and ready to liven up your household.
