Attention all stargazers, astronomy buffs, and for those who have a deep fascination with 'the Red Planet'.

According to Fred Schaff, reporting for the Atlantic City Press, in the next few weeks, the planet Mars will be close of enough to Earth, to give us the best views of the fourth planet from the Sun, and the second-smallest planet in the Solar System in over 10 years.

Mars is noted for its reddish coloring, and pink skies with sunsets of blue. You'll also find two moons on Mars along with a volcano which measures the size of the state of Arizona. According to Wikipedia, Mars has one of the largest canyons in the entire solar system and large quantities of water ice and salt water.

Based on the Press of Atlantic City article, tonight you should be able to see Mars, Saturn and the star Antares form a triangle. Astronomy lovers, be sure to mark the date of May 21st, as the full moon will form an magnificent rectangle with Mars, Saturn and the Antares star.
