Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Snow the cat...

Here's some information on Snow from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Snow is a 6-year-old sweet girl who is looking for a new and forever home. Her previous owner was not able to keep her when she and the new dog brought into the household were no longer getting along (thus the term fighting like cats and dogs).

She would love a home where she can sunbathe all day. She does okay with other cats that are older and not interested in bothering her. Kittens and young cats just aren't her thing.

She has a beautiful coat that is as soft as her name and the most amazingly soulful eyes that are sure to "melt" the hearts of anyone that meets her.

Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
