Shore Medical Center in Somers Point Asking for Baby Monitor Donations
The team at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point is in need of video baby monitor donations to keep a closer eye on patients diagnosed with COVID-19.
A post on Shore Medical Center's official Facebook page reads:
"Because we are not able to visualize the patient easily, these monitors provide an added layer of safety and protection for our patients and our staff."
Coronavirus patients being treated at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point are quarantined behind closed doors, according to the post. "These monitors allow us to keep an eye on our patients as most of our rooms being used by COVID-19 patients have solid doors that must be closed at all times".

Prior donations of video baby monitors proved extremely useful to the staff caring for COVID patients, and Shore Medical Center is hoping to receive more donations from parents no longer in need of the technology.
