Robert's Steakhouse and Scores gentleman's club, both of which began operating at the Taj Mahal until it closed and then reopened in the new Hard Rock were told just days ago that their leases would not be renewed, according to messages from the businesses on social media.

Before opening as the Hard Rock in June 2018, Boardwalk 100, LLC, the company who bought the Trump Taj Mahal with the purpose of opening Hard Rock Atlantic City, filed a federal lawsuit that said allowing Scores to remain would sully the Hard Rock brand.

While the rock-and-roll international hotelier emphasizes the rock-star lifestyle, it also wants its properties to be family-friendly, not something they thought was in line with the reputation of a gentlemen’s club.

Scores’ argument was that it was operating at the Taj Mahal until it closed, so it should have a chance to renew their lease.

A federal court sided with Scores and when Hard Rock opened Scores and Robert's also returned to operation.

Now Scores Facebook page lists the business as "permanently closed". Their final night in business was Saturday, Jan. 25.

Robert's Steakhouse Facebook page says their final day open will be this Saturday, Feb. 1.
