Santa Claus is Coming to Linwood Wednesday

Santa Claus is coming to Linwood!

The tradition of Santa arriving on a Linwood Fire truck seemed in jeopardy earlier this year because of shortages in fire staff, but the Linwood Police have stepped in to assist in driving Santa around town this Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 5-9pm, so listen for the fire siren and get ready to wave to Santa Claus!

Reactions to the news on social media was overwhelmingly positive to keeping this happy tradition alive for the younger generations.

This made my day! My kids adored this tradition when we lived in Linwood. I was so saddened to see they were stopping it due to fire staff shortage. And now, the PD stepped in to keep this tradition alive! Thank you! And God bless you all!
