A Tuesday night accident in Sicklerville left a teenage girl injured. Police now want speak with anyone who may have witnessed what happened.

The accident took place at Kearsley Rd. and Cedar Grove Dr. around 7:30 p.m. as the 14-year-old Camden County Tech School student was getting off her bus.

She was reportedly struck by a blue Kia Forte as she attempted to cross the street. The driver of the vehicle remained on the seen and was visibly distraught according to nearby homeowner Patty Scanlon.

The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital for leg injuries, according to 6abc.com.

This is basically the neighborhood where I grew up, so I hate to see it in the news this way. I hope the girl injured will be alright. Thoughts are with her and her family tonight.
