According to a report in Wallethub.com, our region, the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD area, ranks 7th in the nation with the biggest inflation issues.

The consumer price index in our area is up 3.40% over the same time last year and is up .60% over last month.

The region with the highest inflation numbers?  That would be the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI region with a 3.50% over last year.

Meanwhile, Anchorage, Alaska had the lowest increase with the index rising just 1.5% over last year.
