The online site, has released their list of the 50 best colleges in the nation.  One New Jersey college made that list.  In fact, that New Jersey College ranks second on a list of the country's 50 best colleges.

Lists like these can be highly subjective.  What's important to one person, may be of no interest to someone else.

Some of the considerations when choosing a college, may include the majors that are offered, student/teacher ratio, location, graduation rate, sports, social opportunities, and cost.

Here in New Jersey, we have quite a few high-quality 4-year colleges to choose from.  Some of the public options include Stockton University, The College of New Jersey, Montclair State University, Rutgers University, and others.  When it comes to private schools, Seton Hall University, Rider University, and Princeton University are all good schools close to home.

Only one of these New Jersey schools made the list of the top 50 colleges in the country.

Princeton University is the second-best college in the country according to the College Raptor report.  Princeton is second, only to Massachusetts Institue of Technology.
