Miss America Set to Make Several Stops in South Jersey This April
The lovely Cara Mund, who began her experience on the Miss America journey as Miss North Dakota, now represents the beautiful US of A and is her making her rounds to each state to spread the message about her platform--Make-A-Wish Passion with Fashion in the efforts to make a difference.
On top of her platform, the 2018 Miss America is also spreading the message about leadership and the importance of education! In which case, Miss America will be making several stops in South Jersey this month.
From April 5th-7th, The American Miss will head to Ocean City during her annual "day of volunteering" to kick off Girl's Weekend in the shore town, hosted by the Downtown Merchants Association.
Cara will be the Keynote Speaker on Thursday, April 12th at noon in the Ocean Ballroom at Resorts Casino for the Annual Spring Scholarship Luncheon hosted by the Metropolitan Business & Citizens Association. Tickets are $45 per person that can be purchased here.
Miss America will also be making an appearance at Stockton College on April 18th to discuss empowerment, education, scholarship, and female political engagement.
These upcoming events all follow Cara's most recent trips back to Atlantic County since she won the pageant, such as her most recent visits to Atlantic City High School, Upper Township Middle School, schools in Somers Point and of course her venture into the Lite Rock studios!
South Jersey welcomes Miss America for the month of April!
