Ferdinand Wants a Quiet Home – Pet of the Week
Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.
If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.
This week we met Ferdinand the cat...
"Here is a super cat who deserves a second chance. He needs that "special" person who is willing to give a home to a special needs cats.
Ferdinand is about 4-years old. He came into the shelter in 2018 after suffering serious wounds as a result of a fight. He is all healed up physically but ended up with FIV, which just means his immune system can be weakened.
Because of his condition he should strictly be an inside cat. He can live with other cats as long as they get along and will not bully or stress him out. He would like a quiet home without dogs or young kids.
He would love to get out of the shelter and spend the rest of his life in a loving, happy home."
If you would like to visit Ferdinand or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 or stop in any day between 11a-3p.
To adopt from the HSOC you will need one form of identification, which includes your name, permanent address and proof of ownership (i.e., localtax stub). If you rent, written approval from your landlord is required as well as personal identification.
