The severe need for blood has prompted a seventeen-year-old Mainland Regional student to organize a blood drive for the American Red Cross according to the Press of Atlantic City. There has been an extreme urgency for blood donations since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Linwood resident Julianna Lubeck and her family have always been active in donating blood. With the need for donations at a critical phase, Lubeck, along with the Red Cross has helped in organizing a blood drive on July 29th from 2 to 7 PM at Beth Isreal Synagogue located on Shore Road in Northfield.
