Biggie Is Small, But His Personality is BIG – Pet of the Week [VIDEO]
Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.
If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.
All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.
This week we met Biggie the dog...
Here is some information on Biggie from the Humane Society of Ocean City:
"Biggie is a male Min Pin mix (Miniature Pinscher) who is about 3 years old. He is all brindle and kind of long, has pointy little ears, and a BIG personality! Having arrived at the HSOC as an owner surrender, his human has passed away leaving Biggie in search of a new human to call his own. He is quite spirited and spry, LOVES to play!---with you shaking and tossing toys around!
He is also loves to snuggle, though he needs to warm up to you first. Biggie can be a bit cautious with new folks, so patience is needed, but he warms quickly and does enjoy some quality lap time. He is an intelligent boy, who has a rudimentary understanding of some basic obedience, and has also been known to walk and hop on his hind legs! A little acrobat!
Biggie is looking for a home with an adult person or couple where he can be your best buddy, but is not suitable to be with young children (older teens & up).
Other dogs may be okay (meet n greet required), kitties are unknown to him. If you think Biggie may be the pooch you've been looking for, then call or come down to the HSOC today and inquire! As always, all of our dogs are S/N, microchipped, and UTD on basics."’
If you would like to visit Biggie or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 or stop in any day between 11a-3p.
