A New Legal Cannabis Dispensary Opens Monday

Legal Distribution, Atlantic City's new legal weed shop has a grand opening Monday at noon with Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small cutting the ribbon to welcome the new business officially.

Legal Distribution, at 3112 Atlantic Ave -- between Chelsea and Montpelier avenues -- plans to give grand opening customers free t-shirts and donuts, and pledges to offer a safe, easy, and quicker way to buy cannabis products.

On the site of the former Atlantic City Elks Lodge, steps away from Tropicana Casino, Legal Distribution had its soft opening this week.

Atlantic City's First Locally Owned Weed Shop

Legal Distribution's Lou Freeman is a South Jersey businessman who owns several restaurants, including Margate's Bocca.

Freeman boasts that Legal Distribution is Atlantic City's first locally owned legal weed shop, with three of the business's four owners being graduates of Atlantic City High School.

Freeman thinks people will enjoy the convenience of Legal Distribution and the idea of dealing with locals when they shop for cannabis.

Legal Distribution's website offers a diverse range of cannabis products, from edibles, and concentrates, to vaping products and tinctures, a liquid extract made by soaking cannabis flowers to extract the plant's active ingredients.

Then, of course, there is "the flower", the dried buds of marijuana that are smoked.
