Absecon Police Looking for Answers After Fatal Hit and Run
Absecon Police are asking for your help locating a 2012 dark-colored Honda Civic with the front passenger-side damaged in a fatal hit-and-run early Saturday, May 28.
Police believe the vehicle may be the one that fatally struck a Galloway man at the intersection of Route 9 and the White Horse Pike at 4:12 a.m., according Atlantic County Prosecutor James P. McClain.
Kyle Marcy, 26, of Galloway Township was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus, McClain said.
Police said Marcy had just gotten out of a silver 2015 Kia Forte at the White Horse Pike intersection a few moments before the accident occurred, police said.
The car that struck Marcy stopped briefly and continued on, McClain said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at 609-909-7800.
