Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Tucker the cat...

Here's some information on Tucker from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Tucker is one cool cat! He is a 3 year old domestic short haired boy. He is a bigger guy at 15 pounds and a staff favorite.

He was adopted out from us when he was a young adult and recently returned due to playing a little too rough and the owner not able to handle that due to health issues.

He enjoys playing with all sorts of toys and lounging in sun spots. He would love an active home with older kids. He would do okay with an active cat and a dog that doesn’t have any interest in him would be fine.

Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
