Wyatt is Sweet & Shy, Loves Naps on Laps – Pet of the Week
Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.
If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.
This week we met Hyatt the cat...
Here's some information on Hyatt from the Humane Society of Ocean City...
"Wyatt is a very sweet, shy boy. He came into our shelter when he was only 6 weeks old and has been living here at the HSOC ever since.
Poor Wyatt has been overlooked for years and he is hopeful that the purrfect person will give him a chance to show what a great cat he is. He’s a little over 10 years old and we all believe (especially Wyatt) that his purrfect person will find him soon.
Once he’s comfortable with someone he loves to sit on laps and take naps. He would be a great cat to cuddle up with at night and watch TV or to bring a little pawsitivity into your world.
It will take some time and patience for him to adjust to a home from so much time in a shelter but there’s no reason "why" Wyatt doesn’t deserve his own family and home.
Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
If you would like to visit Wyatt or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 to make an appointment.
