Wildwood Crest Cops Nab Man With Knife Who Was Following Woman

The call came in at 5am. A woman out on her daily run was being followed by a man with a knife in his hand.

Wildwood Crest Police responded to the call on July 6th and were quickly able to find the suspect hiding behind a vehicle. Brain Ciccimaro, 26, of Philadelphia was detained - and two knives were found in his possession.

Police say an investigation revealed that the woman asked the man why he was following her, and noticed the knife in his hand. She was able to run away and call police.

Police say Ciccimaro was also under the influence of narcotics. He was taken to the Cape May County Jail and charged with the following: Unlawful Possession of Weapons, Possession of Weapons for Unlawful Purpose, Possession/ Use of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Harassment.
