We all know everything is different this year, to say the least.  Navigating the holidays during a pandemic will be a challenge, but Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township is trying to bring some "normalcy" to a world that is far from normal right now.  That starts with the time-honored tradition of a visit with Santa.  Their staff has been hard at work creating a way to allow children to safely visit with Santa this year.

While everyone in the park is required to wear a mask (including Santa) and social distance, the magic or the displays and excitement of the amusements still put a smile on the face of kids of every age. Every evening, Santa waves his wand and brightens the decorated park with more than a million amazing lights.

Storybook Land is operating under guidelines set by the State of New Jersey which limit the number of guests who may enter the park on any particular day. For this reason, you must make advanced reservations. When reservations have reached 50% of the park’s normal capacity, you will be asked to choose an alternate day.  I visited with Jessica Panetta, Operations Manager of Storybook Land, who tells us more about how kids can safely visit with Santa.
