A Cape May Court House man - a two time cancer survivor - has seen his body ravaged by the disease and the radiation and chemotherapy used to fight it. Now, he's hoping for help from the community to make sure his family home is safe for the days when he's no longer around.

Kurt Kelly has survived very rare, and often fatal, head and neck cancer. According to a GoFundMe page, "he has acquired an incurable staph infection that is moving through his bloodstream and landed in a large, non-healing open wound on his neck and skull, he has been to countless hospitals, medical centers and doctors since the staph infection presented itself six years ago and finally had the wound healed."

At this point, Kelly doesn't have much time left.

His thoughts now, are with his family and their future.

According to the GoFundMe page, the family home he built himself has fallen into disrepair, and needs some help. With Kelly's health battle, he hasn't been able to do the necessary work, and medical bills have sapped the family funds.

That's why the GoFundMe page has been started - to help the home repairs get done. You can find out more and donate here.
