The Judges Say This South Jersey Cop Has the Best Body
A South Jersey police officer took home 1st place in two categories during the 2024 National Physique Committee's American Heroes Championships, held in September in Laurel Maryland.
Patrolman Zach Otte of the Stafford Township Police Department won two classifications in this special bodybuilding competition, open only to the military and first responders.
Stafford Twp Cop Wins Bodybuilding Contest For Police & Military
The Classic Physique Open NPC American Heroes Championships was open to active duty and retired military, firefighters, police, EMTs, emergency room doctors and nurses.
The judges in Zach's Classic Physique category were looking for fit contestants who displayed proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition.
Rules Were Very Specific and Detailed
Competitors were told to enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot.
"No lewd acts were allowed; for example, the moon pose."
The moon pose? Now I am intrigued. Does that mean to "moon" the audience? If so, it's probably best that they outlawed that move.
Judges were looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who could successfully convey his personality to the audience.
Well, that contestant was our very own Ptl. Zach Otte of Stafford Township PD.
