Is it my imagination, or did the time change result in a major weather shift almost overnight?  It seems the weather did a complete 360 from one day to the next.  Before Daylight Savings, the temps were pretty ridiculous.  And when you factor in the wind chills, it was downright bone-chilling.

Then we all set our clocks ahead one hour, and the result was amazing!  The sun came out, the temps rose (a lot!) and the snow and ice melted away.  Suddenly, you know longer needed a parka, hat, gloves, scarf, and fur-lined boots to step out the door and into your car.  And if your car wasn't already warmed up, forget about it!  There's nothing worse than sitting frozen in your car, waiting for it to warm up.  Brrrr...

I decided there is one good thing about unseasonably cold temps...the fact that anything above freezing feels pretty good.  I never thought 35 degrees could feel OK, but it did!  I started looking forward to any day it got above the freezing mark.

The temps lately have been about what they should be for this time of year, but they almost feel balmy.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not complaining.  It's just a little unsettling, after the winter we've had up till recently.  And I don't wanna jinx it, so I'd better just shut up and enjoy it.

So, here's hoping March really does go out like a lamb.  I've got my flip flops waiting.  :)
