Show Us Your Shoes!
It's all about the shoes. Right, ladies? So, what is it about our obsession with shoes? I'm not sure because when it comes to shoes, I don't have a closet-full like most women I know. And yes, I've seen every single episode of "Sex and The City", so I'm fully aware of the obsession. Several episodes centered around Carrie Bradshaw's designer shoes, which were really fabulous! And I

Marlene’s Movie Madness : The Diary of a Teenage Girl [VIDEO]
"The Diary of a Teenage Girl" is a coming-of-age movie about 15 year-old Minnie Goetz (Bel Powley). The story takes place in the 1970's in San Francisco, and it is told through the eyes of Minnie. And let's just say it's unconventional, and the movie may not be for everyone.

In honor or Throwback Thursday, here's a little blast from the past for ya. Rod Stewart has recorded many hits over the span of his long career. But what was the first single he ever recorded. way back in 1964 on this date? Was it "Maggie May"? How 'bout "Reason to Believe"? Or maybe "Every Picture Tells a Story"? Nope. They were all released in 1971. The firs

On this day back in 2002, singer Kelly Clarkson was voted the first "American Idol" on the Fox TV series. And on that stage thirteen years ago today, Kelly sang, 'Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this'. For Kelly, this was just the beginning of many more memorable moments to come.

Another AC Air Show Just Flew By
Well, the 2015 AC Air Show is now a memory, and I just want to thank everyone who helped bring it back again this year. It was a nice way to kick off the upcoming Labor Day Weekend here at the shore.

Is It Really September Already??
It's been a month since I wrote my blog, "Is It Really August Already??", and now here it is September! September is a bittersweet month for me. It signals the final weeks of summer and (later this month) the beginning of fall. And that's a hard pill for a summer girl to swallow.

I'm sure a lot of girls (including me!) were very upset on this day forty-one years ago. That was the day "The Partridge Family" TV show ended. It was a show about a widowed mom and her five kids who formed a band and made a hit record, then traveled around the country in a colorful school bus. Sounds a little far-fetched? Not really. Here's why...

The Doobie Brothers Do AC This Sunday Night
To say that the Doobie Brothers have been around a long time is an understatement. They formed in 1970 and, except when the band disbanded (sounds a little redundant) for five years back in the '80's, they are still around (and touring!) forty-five years later. And though the lineup has changed over the years, die-hard fans will be happy to know that original guitarists/vocalists Tom Johnston an

"The Late Show with David Letterman" debuted on CBS from the Ed Sullivan Theater twenty-two years ago this Sunday. Prior to that, Dave hosted "Late Night with David Letterman" on NBC from 1982-1993. The final episode of "The Late Show with David Letterman" aired this past May. The first episode on CBS featured Bill Murray. And Dave's very first musical guest?? Ne
