A couple from South Jersey, among hundreds of passengers forced to evacuate a cruise ship off Norway in March, has filed a class-action lawsuit again Viking Cruises.

It should have been the adventure of a lifetime. It was in a way, when retired Swedesboro School Superintendent Charles Ivory and his wife were on board the Viking Sky when the ship's engines failed leaving it stranded in rough waters.

Ivory, who was injured, but not seriously, in the nightmare, told 6abc.com that sea water penetrated the dining hall, and the rocking of the ship caused passengers to lose balance and fall. He says he was lodged under a table, briefly underwater, and unable to reach his wife.

The cruise ships several hundred passengers had to be airlifted to safety by helicopter.
