
Rowan University Announces Vaccine Requirements and up to $1K in Incentives For Fall Semester
Rowan University joins the list of New Jersey schools to require students to be vaccinated before returning to school this fall. Rowan is also offering a cash incentive for students to do so.

According to 6 ABC, full-time students who show proof that they have been vaccinated will receive a $500 credit on their tuition, and another $500 credit is available for students who live on campus.
Rowan University President Ali A. Houshmand, Ph.D. tells 6 ABC,
"Our message today is simple. We believe the path to normalcy is through widespread vaccination and we want our entire community to commit to reaching the goal of widespread vaccination. If we work together, we can reach this goal and offer the Rowan University experience that our students and employees deserve,"
The University will also offer incentives for employees to get vaccinated before the start of the school year.
Stockton University is next on the school list that will be requiring their students to be vaccinated before the 2021/22 school year according to NJ.com. All students must show proof that they are fully vaccinated at least two weeks before arriving on campus. All students must be vaccinated by August 1st.
Kean University along with NJIT, Rutgers University, Fairleigh Dickerson University, Montclair State University, Drew University, and Princeton University will require all students to be fully vaccinated before returning to campus for the fall semester.
