A beer flavored like pork roll egg and cheese actually exists. Would you pick it up or pass on it?

It's actually called Taylor Ham and that's a whole other problem. The beer is called Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese Salt Pepper Ketchup. A mouthful dedicated to something that is indeed a mouthful.

I'm good with ALL the above except TWO factors: It's one of my favorite sandwiches on earth but it's been turned into a BEER, and (for the last time) it's PORK ROLL! Ug, quit it with the Taylor Ham, I don't care what the packaging says.

This potentially gag-worth adult beverage, 8% ABV if you were curious, is made by the folks at Knotted Root Brewing Company way, way across the country in a city called Nederland, Colorado. Which explains a lot. It certainly explains why they've named it Taylor Ham. They simply don't know any better.

Knotted Root recently brought back its Taylor Ham beer by popular demand. It's one of their most requested brews, so maybe there's something to it, I just can't wrap my head around it.

I love pork roll. I love egg and cheese. I love it all on a sandwich topped with salt, pepper, and ketchup. TO EAT. NOT IN MY BEER.

However, Knotted Root fully recognizes the battle between North Jersey Taylor Ham peeps and South Jersey pork roll peeps, describing the beer this way:

“Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese, Salt Pepper Ketchup” is an Unfiltered double dry-hopped DIPA which features gobs of Motueka, Hallertau Blanc, and Vic Secret hops. This beer is dedicated to the salty, savory, oozing display of New Jersey's best breakfast sandwich. We will always debate what it's called, but we can all agree that it is something special. Think fresh squeezed American cheese, a poppy seed kaiser roll, and cured salted meats."
