Community Food Bank of New Jersey:

There are so many ways to get involved with the Food Bank located in Egg Harbor Township for the holidays. You can give time with family and friends to help sort and package food. Safety precautions for volunteers include temperatures taken before anyone is allowed to enter the building, wearing mask and gloves and maintaining social distance guidelines.

You can also always donate to the Food Bank for the 2020 holiday season.  More than 93,000 residents in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties struggle with hunger. Now thanks to COVID-19, those numbers will surely increase; the need is greater than ever.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties:  

Help impact a child and improve their community at the same time. Big Brothers are especially in high demand. You can have a positive influence and make a real difference in a boy's life.

Animal Shelters:

Being a volunteer at a animal shelter can give you such a good feeling. You get to work with amazing animals and an amazing and dedicated staff.

Check out the Humane Society of Ocean City, the Humane Society of Atlantic County and the Atlantic County Animal Shelter to volunteer this holiday season. You must be over 18 to volunteer at the Humane Society of Ocean City. Volunteers are need to exercise and socialize with cats and dogs at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter.

 Ronald McDonald House- Southern New Jersey

The Ronald MacDonald House provides a home-away-from home for families of seriously ill and traumatically injured children who are being cared for at hospitals in the area. You can volunteer and help make Family Welcome Bags and Snack Packs for the children.
