There seems to be a trend happening here. When famous Phillies players or former Phillies are looking for a good pancake breakfast, they seem to congregate at Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Ocean City.

When former Phillies pitching great Cole Hamels was in Ocean City in June, he was photographed enjoying breakfast one morning at Uncle Bill's.

This week, it was Bryce Harper's turn.

Harper, last season's National League MVP, is on the injured list after breaking his thumb in a game on June 28th when he was hit with a 97-mile-per-hour fastball. A surgeon put three pins in Bryce's thumb. Ouch!

Unfortunately for Bryce and the Phils, that meant he would miss 4-8 weeks of the season and an appearance in this week's All-Star Game, where fans had voted him in as the starting NL designated hitter.

Fortunately for Byrce, the injury meant he had time to do a little vacationing in Ocean City and have a delicious breakfast at Uncle Bill's Pancake house!

While eating at Uncle Bill's this week, Bryce took time for a photo with the entire restaurant crew from Uncle Bill's in a classic shot that should be framed and forever have a spot on the wall in the eatery.

The photo is making the rounds on social media and Phillies fans are loving it.

Wow what a class act he his. These kids will never forget this memory!! He really loves being in Philly and surrounding area and we are so happy to have him here!!!

Gentleman and a class act. Hope he is back to work soon!

That's why he is good for Philly! He gets it. He will go down as one of the greats and not just because he is a stud ball player, but because he is inbedded in the culture.

Bryce is making the blue print for how to be a Philly athlete - he’s loved everywhere in the TriState area
