Person with History of Violence Walks Away from NJ Psychiatric Hospital

New Jersey State Human Services Police are searching for a patient at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital.

NJ Psych Patient Escapes

The patient is 29-year-old Kevin Delavega, who police describe as a white/Hispanic male, 5’07”, 150lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.

It is believed that Delavega walked away from the facility sometime around 8:00 pm Friday.

Police do not know of any possible destination for Delavega.

Psych Patient With Violent Tendencies

Police say Delavega has previous tendencies of violent behavior.

The public is warned that if seen, Delavega should not approached.

You should call 9-1-1 immediately.

This is not the first time Delavega has been in the news.  In 2019, police reported he walked away from the same facility.
