Stockton U's 3rd Annual Community Clean Up
The weather sounds good for Saturday's third annual Community Day Clean Up and Party in the Park hosted by Stockton University.
Volunteers from Stockton and the community will tackle trash at ten sites around Atlantic City.
From the Inlet to Lower Chelsea, all six of Atlantic City's wards have been designated for cleaning up between 9 am and noon on Saturday.
Last year, more than 700 volunteers from over 70 community groups removed more than ten tons of trash from city streets and beaches.
The Party in the Park Follows the Cleanup
There's a party to celebrate all the good work following the cleanup.
Everyone is invited to join the fun at O'Donnell Park from 11 am to 3 pm with a live band, a DJ, over 35 vendors and community organizations, food trucks, games, face painting, and more.
You Can Help With the Cleanup
You can help, too.
Walk-up registration will be held for the cleanup starting at 8:30 am. at O'Donnell Memorial Park, between Atlantic Avenue, South Albany Avenue, and Captain John A O'Donnell Parkway, near Stockton's Atlantic City campus.
