Offshore Powerboat Racing Roars Back to Atlantic City

After six years, the speed and excitement of offshore powerboat racing returns to Atlantic City Friday-Sunday June 21-23 when the Offshore Powerboat Association presents the Atlantic City "War at the Shore".

The Offshore Powerboat Association, a major force in offshore powerboat racing, is celebrating its return to Atlantic City this summer.

The Atlantic City War at the Shore presented by Ocean Casino Resort, culminates on Sunday, June 23, delivering adrenaline-pumping action that will have spectators on the edge of their seats.

Partnering with Visit Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Sports Commission, Golden Nugget, and other businesses, the OPA will ignite excitement along the Atlantic Ocean, hosting the highly anticipated offshore high-performance race of the year.

This event marks the premiere of the OPA National Championship Series in Atlantic City.

A Full Weekend Of Powerboat Racing Is Coming to AC

Atlantic City beaches will see the return of high-powered boats slicing through the Atlantic as top teams from around the world compete for victory.

Offshore Powerboat Racing can reach speeds of 160 MPH and more.

Ocean Casino Resort will be the best place to watch the War at the Shore on Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm.

Free viewing areas include The Park, and Sky Walk or you can opt for a more personalized experience at The Cabanas.
