Northfield Record Store Set to Close Their Doors for Good

There will be one less record store open for business when Record Store Day 2017 rolls around on April 22nd. This special day is partially responsible for a recent resurgence in good old vinyl.

The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that Tunes located in the Center Point Plaza shopping center on Rt. 9 will be closing its doors for good this Sunday (March 26).

Speaking of Record Store Day 2017, we have good news to share! There will be some special releases, on vinyl of course, including an extremely rare album of Bruce Springsteen's first concert not in the United States, according to NJ.com.

Bruce and the E Street band tore down the house at the Hammersmith Odeon Theater in November 1975. The concert will be released on 3 albums and there will only be 3,000 copies available. The list of record stores that will have copies to sell will be released the week before Record Store Day. Good luck trying to get your hands on one as this new Bruce record will become an instant rare collectible!
