The other day, I was driving down the Garden State Parkway when all of the sudden, I couldn't believe what I saw.

There was a cluster of cars driving in and out of the lanes when two of them collided! One of the car's headlights broke and I saw glass shatter across the roadways before my eyes.

Only one car pulled over and I saw the driver was okay but when I pulled out my phone, I thought to myself, "Crap! What is the number I call?"

I am sure most of you are thinking, "Um, duh...call 9-1-1!"

Authorities obviously needed to be alerted but no one was badly injured so I thought calling 9-1-1 would take resources away from someone who is actually in an emergency.

So that is the incident that inspired me to put together a list of non-emergency phone numbers that you should have if you live in South Jersey!
