NJ Pharmacies Giving FREE Opioid Reversal Drug Kits 9/24 to 9/26
Governor Murphy has declared that one of New Jersey is committed to ending the opioid epidemic...and he is turning those words into action.
From September 24th to September 26th, New Jersey pharmacies will be giving away naloxone kits -- an opioid reversal drug -- for free. Each kit contains two doses.
According to NJ.gov, anyone who does pick up one of these kits will be, "given information regarding addiction treatment and recovery through Reach NJ, a 24-hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week addictions hotline where people can have Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or friends and family of people with SUD can get immediate assistance and support from live, New Jersey-based, trained addiction counselors."

Now I know this type of thought is scary to even have but you will never know when having this kit will save a life. Addiction can take anyone...ANYONE.
