A Central Jersey man is missing and may be in danger.  His family is desperately trying to find him.

They are asking the community for help bringing him home.

This is the story of Anthony M. Reyes.

Anthony Reyes is a 36-year-old man who disappeared on June 28th from his home on Serpentine Drive East near Bayville.  His family believes he could be in danger.

I spoke to Anthony's mother Barbara, who told me that Anthony is soft-spoken and stressed that he isn't a danger to the community.

He has several psychiatric issues, and he has occasionally been admitted to area facilities for inpatient treatment.

She told me he lives with Schizophrenia and paranoia.  These diseases affect how people think and behave.  They can cause hallucinations and confusion.

His mother told me that the hallucinations and confusion probably played a role in his disappearance.

Anthony believes someone is looking to hurt him or kill him and she believes that is why he's running.

He's a father of 7 children and is close to his family.

On Friday, June 28th, Anthony was dropped off at his home.

Sometimes, Anthony would clear his head by going for walks.  That's what happened on this fateful evening.  However, he has yet to return home.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark blue shorts, and dark blue slides.

Anthony left home without his phone, wallet, money, or meds.

The family is pleading with the community to watch for Anthony.  If you have ring cameras, check those too.

If you have information about Anthony's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Bayville Police Department at 732-341-1132.
