Jersey Shore Bank Robber on the Loose
A bank robber is on the run and the Brick Township Police are asking for help finding the suspect.
Police were called to the Santander Bank branch between Beaverson and Brick Boulevards on Wednesday around 12:15.
According to reports, a bank robbery involving one perpetrator had just occurred.
The suspect entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect then took off on foot.
Police say that the suspect didn't appear to have a weapon.
Witnesses told police the suspect was wearing a white mask and umbrella.
According to a release from the police, "The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black athletic joggers, white athletic shoes, wearing (sic) a black backpack and lime green work gloves. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen traveling west in the area of Beaverson Boulevard."
Police are asking for the public's help in finding this individual.

If you have information on the whereabouts of the suspect, police ask that you contact either Detective Snider at 732-262-1111 or Detective Farnkopf at 732-262-4611.
If you live in the area of the bank and have security cameras, you might want to review footage from that time frame.
Police say they don't believe this individual is a danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
