New Manhattan Bagel is Coming to Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Egg Harbor Township is about to get a new Manhattan Bagel.  The Original Egg Harbor Township Happenings page on Facebook blew up with the revelation.

The new Manhattan Bagel is opening at 6041 Blackhorse Pike in a strip center between Sack O' Subs and Lab Corp.

Manhattan Bagel is known for New York Style bagels.  They are boiled and baked fresh daily and come in a wide variety of flavors like asiago, and jalapeno cheddar to more traditional choices like plain, egg, and pumpernickel.  For those who don't like to make a choice, you'll love their everything bagels.

In addition to the fresh bagels, Manhattan Bagel offers a wide array of breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Manhattan Bagel has roughly 32 locations in New Jersey and this new location will be the 13th or 14th here in South Jersey.

Why are New York-style bagels special?  If you've ever been out of state seeking a bagel for breakfast, you'll immediately notice a difference.  Many times, they taste like a circular wad of dough with a hole in it.  No doubt they were baked and just don't seem right.

If you're from the New Jersey/New York area, you know there's something different about out-of-state bagels, but what is it that makes our bagels better?
