New Jersey State Police Need Your Help to Identify Body
▪️ Body found at Belleplain State Forrest December 22
▪️ The victim was found hidden in a refrigerator
▪️ Police say the victim is female and has distinct tattoos
The New Jersey State Police have put out a call for help.
State Police discovered human remains on December 22 at Belleplain State Forrest near Dennis Township in Cape May County.
Police describe the body as that of either a Caucasian or Latino female.
They believe the woman was approximately 5'1" and had two tattoos.
The woman sported a rose tattoo on her left ribs, which extends from her chest to her hip.
A koi fish was tattooed on the upper right portion of her back, near her shoulder blade.
In addition to the tattoos, clues to the woman's identity include a necklace,
and what police describe as a distinctive yoga mat.
Police say the body was found on December 22 at Belleplain State Forrest near Dennis Township in Cape May County.
Police say the body was hidden in a refrigerator.
A police spokesperson did not disclose how they learned of the body, or exact location of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police discovered another body in a New Jersey forest on December 14.
That body was found at the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area in Manchester Township.
In that case, the victim, a male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Police announced the arrest of 4 individuals in that case.
