Lite Rock Salutes South Jersey Teachers at Annual Luncheon

It's no secret that we love our teachers here in South Jersey. Throughout the school year, thousands of students are influenced to dream big and pursue higher education thanks to inspiring educators. After another successful school year, it's time to honor some of these hardworking teachers!

We celebrated some wonderful teachers at our annual Teacher of the Year Banquet at Angelo’s Fairmont Tavern in Atlantic City. All of this year's winners of Lite Rock's Teacher of the Month enjoyed lunch together alongside the students who nominated them.

A special congratulations goes to 2019's Lite Rock Teacher of the Year, Mr. Michael Piotrowski, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for November. Mr Piotrowski, a Media teacher at Absegami High School, was nominated by his student Sophie Cohen who win's a $2,000 scholarship!.

All of the students and teachers this school year enjoyed a pizza party courtesy of Capri Pizza in Northfield and a fresh fruit flower arrangement from B.F. Mazzeo in Northfield.

A huge thank you to the teachers and students who joined us, and a big thanks to all the teachers in  South Jersey on another successful school year!
