Here Is The Finest Lobster Roll In The Atlantic City, NJ Area

There are many different lobster rolls to choose from. In both Maine and Connecticut style.

In my humble opinion, this is the finest lobster roll in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area (pictured above and directly below).

This is The Water Dog Smoke House interpretation of a Connecticut style lobster roll, and, it’s the finest that I’ve ever had.

I have enjoyed it many times, it’s consistently outstanding.

Each lobster roll consists of a full lobster tail, knuckle and claw meat. The roll is also very special and delicious.

The lobster is the main star of the show, but, the roll is the best supporting actor!

Water Dog owner Steve Marchel describes this delicacy best:

A Connecticut Style Lobster Roll, which is poached in warm butter, as opposed to a Maine Roll which is dressed with seasoned mayo. No Mayo, No Fillers. Just knuckle, claw and tail meat. All served in a top-cut toasted roll served with potato salad and our tarragon aioli on the side, said Marchel.

FUN FACT:

The first lobster roll was created in 1929 by Perry's, located in Milford, Connecticut. It was a Maine style presentation.

Butter poached lobster is my favorite. My absolute favorite is from Narcoossee's restaurant at The Grand Floridian in Disney World.

It is a warm butter poached Maine lobster and it’s . perfect each and every time.
