The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has achieved their latest guilty plea … involving an Atlantic City, New Jersey man.

The guilty plea has achieved a long prison sentence.

Guilty Of Narcotics & Firearms Charges

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has released the following public information:

On Monday, July 28, 2025, Qumar Gilliam-Winborn, 20, of Atlantic City, NJ, pleaded guilty in Superior Court to the crimes of third-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS/Marijuana; second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana in a Public Zone; second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun; and second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Machine Gun. The plea calls for a sentence of 10 years in New Jersey State Prison with five years of parole ineligibility pursuant to the Graves Act, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The criminal charges were the result of a team effort between the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

the collaboration resulted in the execution of a search warrant at an Atlantic City home on November 7, 2025.

It resulted in the seizure of a myriad of items as follows:

two stolen firearms.
a large capacity ammunition magazine.
ball and hollow point ammunition.
marijuana packaged for distribution.
narcotics distribution.
paraphernalia.
US currency.

One of the firearms seized from the defendant was a Glock 19 Gen 5 9mm handgun that was equipped with an aftermarket device known as a "switch," which converted the handgun into a fully automatic machine gun, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
