Finding a good sports bar to watch your team play is easier said than done. This is because some establishments promote that they "have the game on", but then you get there, and the TVs are too small, or the wrong game is on, then you have to ask them to change the channel, and the bartender says "What channel is that on?"

So when you find a real sports bar, it becomes one of your go-to spots with friends and family. But when you hear that one of your favorite establishments is being sold to new owners, the community has plenty of questions about the future.

But we have good news about Victory Bar and Grill

Located on Route 73 in West Berlin, this popular spot in the West Berlin section of Camden County has undergone upgrades, renovations, and expansions three different times from 2019 to 2024.

The latest change involves longtime husband-and-wife owners Andy and Loukia Likogiannis selling the business. A deal that was in the works for months was publicly announced by restaurant broker Bielat Santore & Company in the first week of May.

The aforementioned "good news" is that the new ownership will keep Victory Bar and Grill open, retain the current staff, and plan to make improvements to the menu and property. The owners of the Wine Cave and Haldi Fine Italian Cuisine in Mount Laurel, Amar and Sunitha Gunda, told a local media outlet:

"We are going to improve a lot of the food quality, service, and ambiance. We are laying out a 30, 60 and 90 day plan."

Reports state the new menu is scheduled to launch on June 1st, and plans are in place to add fire pits and a new cornhole section to the backyard area. They are also going to upgrade the TVs to newer and larger models, along with adding live music schedule in time for the summer season.

The new owners have also hired a new General Manager: Justin Williams has decades of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries, with extensive experience working in sports bars.

These upgrades and the hiring of a new GM with sports bar experience show that new ownership is committed to keeping with the sports bar vibe of Victory Bar and Grill, which is good news for South Jersey sports fans.
