Phillies Star Kyle Schwarber Spotted at Popular Stone Harbor Dining Spot

It's been a busy summer for Kyle Schwarber, but he still found some downtime at the Jersey Shore during the Major League Baseball All-Star break.

While Schwarber competed in Monday's Home Run Derby and Tuesday's All-Star Game, he was able to get down the shore and enjoy some of his favorite spots.

From the All-Star Game to 7 Mile Island

When Wednesday rolled around, the one day off the Phillies had before restarting the unofficial second half of the baseball season against the New York Mets, Schwarber made a stop at Shorebreak Pizza and Grill, at 2259 Dune Drive in Avalon, taking pictures with the staff.

But that wasn't his only stop on 7 Mile Island, as Schwarber made his way over to The Watering Hull in Stone Harbor for dinner with his family, taking pictures with the staff and autographing a hat as a keepsake for the restaurant.

A Favorite Spot for Philadelphia Athletes

The Watering Hull, which opened in 2014 in the heart of downtown Stone Harbor at the Harbor Walk complex overlooking 96th Street, serves a full menu of Caribbean/Atlantic-inspired cuisine.

Schwarber isn't the first Philadelphia sports star to visit The Watering Hull this summer, with Jake Elliott recently stopping in and Landon Dickerson visiting last summer.

Don't Forget Rum Row Downstairs

I have never been to The Watering Hull, but downstairs is their sister spot, Rum Row, a place I have been to a few times and have enjoyed their craft beer selection and food menu. I definitely recommend checking out Rum Row, and if Schwarber thinks The Watering Hull is worth a stop, it looks like I am going to have to check it out this summer!
