Buddy Love BBQ Expands to Second Ocean City Spot, Taking Over Former Augie’s Omelette Location

A popular Ocean City barbecue spot is opening a second location for the summer of 2025.

Buddy Love's BBQ, which has a boardwalk location at 728 Boardwalk, is opening a second location at 709 E 9th Street, formerly Augie's Omelette, Waffle House, and Grill.

We are happy to Announce Buddy Love's BBQ just added a new location! We will be serving a dine-in breakfast buffet and dine-in BBQ dinner this summer. I would like to thank all of our loyal customers for supporting us and we are looking forward in seeing each and everyone this summer!!

Augie’s Omelette's new location is now 403 E 14th street between Asbury and Central Ave, back in late December of 2024, after 17 years at their previous location at the Coral Sands Motel.

When Augie's moved, they announced the landlord had other plans for the location where Buddy Love's BBQ is moving into, which could mean this is a temporary move for the Ocean City BBQ spot.

What’s on the Menu?

The new BBQ spot appears to be offering sit-down family dinner and a breakfast buffet.

Some of the highlights of Buddy Love’s BBQ menu at their boardwalk location include flavorful barbecue platters, tender brisket sandwiches, fall-off-the-bone ribs, creamy macaroni and cheese, and baked beans are just some of the meals they offer.
