Police Arrest Woman Who Taunted Tiger at Bridgeton, NJ Zoo

It was last week's cautionary tale of 'What Not to Do' after a woman illegally invited herself into a tiger enclosure at a zoo in Bridgeton, NJ, nearly getting attacked. Now, police have reportedly identified and arrested the brazen visitor.

The incident serves as an example of why you don't f with cats.

Of course, the stupidity of the zoo guess was caught on video. Like, hello?! Did she think no one was watching?

Woman Climbs into Tiger Pen at Zoo in Bridgeton, NJ

On August 18th, the female trespasser, ignoring a 'do not enter' sign, reportedly climbed over the wooden separator of Cohanzick Zoo's tiger pen, where the attraction's two 500 lb. Bengals (Mahesha and Rishi) reside.

She can be witnessed reaching her hand through a wire fence and attempting to engage one of the big cats.

Not only was her illegal entry captured by a surveillance camera, her experiment of 'enticing' the tiger, Patch.com reports, resulted in her nearly being bitten by the animal.

Unfortunately, the witless woman caught the attention of zoo officials and local authorities rather than the tiger. Bridgeton Police Department quickly shared the incident on social media asking for help identifying the woman as the encounter went viral and made national news.

Woman Arrested After Illegally Trespassing Tiger Pen at Bridgeton, NJ Zoo

Although it took a few days, police tracked down the suspect. She is a 24-year-old woman from Millville.

According to a Bridgeton Police Department press release, Zyair J. Davis was arrested has been formally charged with Defiant Trespassing and other local ordinance violations. Davis will reportedly have to appear in Bridgeton Municipal Court to answer for her alleged offenses.
