Here Comes The Sun Outdoor Event Coming To Somers Point This April

One of the things I miss the most since the start of the pandemic is being able to see live music from my favorite bands.

Live music once again is coming to Somers Point on the weekend of April 23rd through the 25th. Here Comes the Sun weekend will feature live music, arts, and other activities in the Bayfront's Historic District according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Here Comes the Sun is a free event put on by the Somers Point Experiences Club and the South Jersey Jazz Society. Get ready for a weekend of jazz, classic rock, and all types of music. Here's some good news for jazz lovers. Ocean First Bank Jazz at the Point will once again return starting in October 2021.

Also returning to Somers Point is the 5th annual Art in the Park featuring the work of a number of the local, regional, professional, and amateur artists for exhibit and for sale. Art in the Park will take place on June 19th from 10 AM to 4 PM at John F. Kennedy Park.

Prizes will be awarded to both professional and amateur artists. Plenty of food will be available. The kids will enjoy fun-filled attractions, face painting, and interactive art experiences. An art exhibit will be on display from Somers Point students.
